Tracey Kimberley

Tracey is a Metabolic and Functional Medicine coach supporting our patients in the Canberra area. She is also involved in our Metabolism Clinic providing down to earth, practical advice helping patients make sustainable changes.

Over the years Tracey has been sharing her experiences with the world, being invited to speak at several ‘Low Carb’ conferences around the world, including 2018 guest speaker at ‘Low Carb Down Under’ at the Gold Coast, Queensland, and 2019 guest speaker at ‘Low Carb Denver’ in Denver, Colorado. In 2019, Tracey also went on to co-found ‘Low Carb Canberra’.

She is a vibrant and enthusiastic mum of four. Originally hailing from sunny Queensland, she and her family relocated to Canberra in 2014, and have called it home ever since. Tracey has always maintained a keen interest in overall physical fitness, health, and wellbeing. Interests which developed throughout her childhood, and have grown and changed throughout the many stages of Tracey’s life.

In 2019 Tracey completed her certificate in Health Coaching, with a particular interest in Metabolic issues using Keto, low carb, and carnivore lifestyle approaches. Tracey is now learning the practicalities of Functional Medicine Coaching, and is studying a Bachelor Degree of Health Science in Behavioural Studies.

While Tracey’s list of qualifications continues to grow, her real knowledge began on ground level in 2016 when her eldest daughter Ashlee was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Simultaneously, Tracey’s father began his own journey into a low carb lifestyle, managing to completely overhaul is overall health and wellness. Not one to believe in coincidences, Tracey embraced what life had thrown her way, and delved straight into learning the importance of good nutrition, the benefits of a low carbohydrate lifestyle, and how to optimally fuel the body. Which has truly become her passion.

When Tracey is not helping people to live the healthiest, and fullest life possible, she’s out running around with and for her family, and challenging herself and her body (45km charity walks anyone?), or she’s in the kitchen creating magic!
